Tester Confidentiality Agreement
This agreement is between you — the person named below, signing with the invite code issued to you — and Wabbit ("we," "us," "our"), the owner and operator of 6DOF Academy.
You're reading this because we're letting you into something before it's finished. The tester wave gives you a build the public can't see, and we'd like it to stay that way until we're ready. That's the whole point of this document. It's short on purpose.
By entering your name and accepting below, you agree to what follows. This agreement works alongside our Terms of Service and Privacy Policy — it doesn't replace either.
What you're agreeing to keep private
While you're a tester, you'll see things we haven't announced. Keep them to yourself:
- The builds themselves — the web trainer, and the desktop trainer if and when you get access to it.
- Scenarios, drills, missions, and training content that isn't live to the public.
- How the trainer works under the hood: scoring, flight model, tuning, progression, anything you learn by flying it that isn't visible from the marketing site.
- Roadmap, release timing, and plans we share with testers.
- Pricing, tiers, or offers that aren't publicly posted.
- Anything another tester says in a tester channel, and anything we say to testers directly.
- Your own bug reports, feedback, and the conversations we have about them.
If you're unsure whether something is covered, assume it is and ask us. hello@wabbit.com.
What isn't covered
This agreement doesn't cover:
- Anything already public on our website or our public channels. If we've posted it, you can talk about it.
- Anything you already knew before we told you, or learned independently from someone who was free to tell you.
- Anything we later make public, from the moment we make it public.
- Anything you're legally required to disclose — a court order, a subpoena, a regulator. If that happens and you're allowed to tell us, tell us first so we can respond.
No public posting
This is the part most likely to come up, so here it is plainly:
Don't publish the build or footage of it. No streaming, no video, no screenshots, no clips, no screen-sharing to an audience, no posting builds or files anywhere. Not on social media, not in a Discord we don't run, not to a friend "just to show them."
If you want to show something publicly, ask first. We'll often say yes — we may even help — but we need to know about it beforehand and say so in writing. Email hello@wabbit.com.
Don't share your account, your invite code, or your access with anyone else. Access is issued to you personally.
Your feedback
Tell us everything. Bugs, complaints, ideas, "this feels wrong and I can't say why" — that's what a tester wave is for, and blunt feedback is the most useful kind.
When you give us feedback, we can use it to build and sell the product, with no obligation to you and no payment for it. You're not giving up anything you made yourself — you keep your own creative work — but ideas and suggestions you send us about 6DOF Academy become ours to act on freely. We say this plainly up front so nobody is surprised later.
How long this lasts
Your confidentiality obligations start when you accept this agreement and run until the information stops being confidential — either because we make it public, or because it becomes public some other way that isn't your doing.
For anything that's still not public, the obligations last two years after your tester access ends, whichever comes first.
Deleting your account doesn't end this agreement. Leaving the tester wave doesn't either.
Access is ours to give and to withdraw
Being a tester isn't a purchase and isn't a promise. We can end your tester access at any time, for any reason, including if you break this agreement. You can stop being a tester at any time by telling us or by deleting your account.
The builds are unfinished and provided "as is," exactly as our Terms of Service describes. Progress, scores, and tuning may be reset or lost during the wave.
Nothing here transfers any ownership of 6DOF Academy to you.
If this gets broken
A leak isn't something money fixes after the fact — once a build is out, it's out. So if you breach this agreement, we may seek a court order to stop it, in addition to any other remedy available to us, and we don't have to post a bond to do it.
We'd much rather never use this paragraph. If you've made a mistake, tell us early — that conversation goes better than you think.
Changes to this agreement
If we materially change this agreement, we'll ask you to read and accept the new version before you keep testing. Versions you've already accepted stay on record as what you agreed to at the time.
Governing law
This agreement is governed by the laws of the United States and of the state in which Wabbit is organized, without regard to conflict-of-law principles. Any disputes will be resolved in the applicable federal or state courts.
